4. Installation Guide
Follow these steps to install the SHAD 3P System Fitting Kit on your Suzuki V-Strom 250.
- Prepare the Motorcycle: Ensure the motorcycle is turned off, cooled down, and securely placed on its stand.
- Identify Mounting Points: Locate the designated mounting points on the rear frame of your Suzuki V-Strom 250. The 3P system attaches at three specific joint points.
- Attach Main Frames: Secure the left and right main frames (Item 1) to the motorcycle's frame using the provided bolts, washers, and nuts (Items 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9) as indicated in the diagram. Pay close attention to the correct orientation of each part.
- Install Spacers: Insert the spacers (Item 8) where required to ensure proper alignment and clearance.
- Tighten Fasteners: Once all components are in place and aligned, securely tighten all bolts and nuts. Do not overtighten.

Compatibility Notes for Side Cases:
- This fitting kit is compatible with SHAD side cases SH35, SH36, SH38X, and SHAD side bags TR30, TR40. These can be installed directly after the fitting kit is mounted.
- For SHAD SH23 side cases, it is necessary to replace parts with the dedicated mounting components included with the SH23 cases themselves. If these dedicated SH23 mounting parts are not used, SH23 cases cannot be installed.
- The dedicated mounting parts for SH23 are not included with this fitting kit. Please use the parts supplied with your SH23 cases or purchase the separately sold SH23 dedicated stopper end cap set.
- When SH23 cases are installed using their dedicated mounting parts, they cannot be used in conjunction with SH35/36/38X cases, as the mounting configuration is altered.
- If you previously used SH35/36/38X cases and are switching to SH23, please retain the original mounting parts as they will be needed if you wish to revert to SH35/36/38X.
- Installation of side cases from other manufacturers has not been confirmed for compatibility with this fitting kit.
Top Case Installation:
To install a SHAD top case, a separately sold SHAD Top Master Fitting Kit is required in addition to this 3P System Fitting Kit. Please ensure compatibility of the Top Master kit with your specific motorcycle model and top case.

5. Operation
The SHAD 3P System is designed for easy attachment and detachment of compatible SHAD side cases. Once the fitting kit is securely installed on your motorcycle, you can mount your side cases by aligning the three joint points on the case with the corresponding points on the fitting kit and engaging the locking mechanism. To detach, simply release the locking mechanism and lift the side case away from the fitting kit.
