5. Setup

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Bluetooth Mode

  1. Turn on the soundbar. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device or computer.
  3. Search for "Portronics POR-891" in the list of available devices and select it to pair.
  4. Once paired, the LED indicator will stop flashing, and you will hear a confirmation tone.

6.2. AUX Mode

  1. Connect one end of the 3.5mm AUX cable to the AUX port on the soundbar.
  2. Connect the other end of the AUX cable to the audio output jack of your device (e.g., smartphone, laptop, TV).
  3. Press the Power button briefly to cycle through modes until you hear the AUX mode prompt.
  4. Play audio from your connected device.

6.3. USB Playback Mode

  1. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB port on the soundbar.
  2. The soundbar will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playing the audio files. If not, press the Power button briefly to cycle to USB mode.
  3. Use the Volume Up/Down buttons (long press) to navigate between tracks.

6.4. FM Radio Mode

  1. Press the Power button briefly to cycle through modes until you hear the FM mode prompt.
  2. To auto-scan and save available FM stations, short press the Play/Pause button. The soundbar will scan and store stations automatically.
  3. Once scanning is complete, use the Volume Up/Down buttons (long press) to switch between saved FM stations.

7. Charging the Device

The soundbar is equipped with a 2500mAh lithium-ion battery. When the battery is low, you will hear an audible low battery warning. To charge:

  1. Connect the Micro USB end of the charging cable to the DC 5V port on the soundbar.
  2. Connect the standard USB end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  3. The LED indicator will illuminate to show charging status.
  4. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours and provides up to 7 hours of playback time.
