Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off
- Turn on the transmitter first by sliding the power switch to the 'ON' position.
- Next, turn on the vehicle by sliding its power switch to the 'ON' position. The vehicle and transmitter will automatically pair.
- To turn off, switch off the vehicle first, then the transmitter.
2. Driving the Vehicle
- Steering: Use the steering wheel on the transmitter to control the direction of the vehicle (left/right).
- Acceleration/Brake: Use the trigger on the transmitter to control speed. Pull the trigger towards you to accelerate forward. Push the trigger away from you to brake or reverse.
- The vehicle features front and brake lights for enhanced realism and visibility.
3. Digital Proportional Control
The Digital Proportional Control allows for precise steering and speed adjustments, providing a more realistic and responsive driving experience compared to standard RC vehicles. The amount you turn the steering wheel or pull the trigger directly corresponds to the vehicle's movement.
4. Multi-Vehicle Operation (2.4 GHz Technology)
Thanks to 2.4 GHz technology, up to 16 Carrera RC vehicles can be operated simultaneously without interference. To race multiple vehicles, ensure each vehicle and its corresponding transmitter are powered on one by one to establish individual connections.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the vehicle and transmitter with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using water or chemical cleaners.
- Tire and Vehicle Cleanliness: Soiling on the tires or within the vehicle's moving parts can contribute to the development of noise and affect performance. Keep the item clean, especially after use in dusty or dirty environments.
- Storage: When not in use, store the vehicle and transmitter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries from both the vehicle and transmitter if storing for extended periods.
- Battery Care: Always use the provided charging cable for the vehicle's Lithium-Ion battery. Do not overcharge or completely discharge the battery.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Vehicle does not respond to transmitter. | Batteries are low or incorrectly installed. Vehicle or transmitter not powered on. Pairing issue. | Check and replace batteries. Ensure both vehicle and transmitter are switched 'ON'. Turn off both, then turn on transmitter first, then vehicle to re-pair. |
| Vehicle runs slowly or has reduced power. | Vehicle battery is low. | Recharge the vehicle's Lithium-Ion battery fully. |
| Vehicle makes unusual noise. | Debris or soiling in moving parts. | Clean the vehicle, especially around the wheels and chassis, to remove any dirt or debris. |
| Steering is not precise. | Steering trim may need adjustment (if available on transmitter). | Refer to the transmitter's specific instructions for steering trim adjustment. Ensure no debris is obstructing steering components. |
| Short operating time. | Battery not fully charged or old battery. | Ensure battery is fully charged. Consider replacing the battery if it's old and capacity has diminished. |
