Setup
1. Battery Installation
The clock requires one (1) AA battery (not included) for operation.
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock.
- Carefully remove the cover.
- Insert one (1) AA battery, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Initial Time Setting
After installing the battery, set the current time.
- Locate the time setting knob on the back of the clock.
- Rotate the knob clockwise or counter-clockwise until the hour and minute hands display the correct current time.
Operating Instructions
1. Setting the Alarm
To set the desired alarm time:
- Locate the alarm setting knob on the back of the clock. This knob is typically smaller than the time setting knob.
- Rotate the alarm setting knob until the alarm hand points to your desired alarm time.
2. Activating and Deactivating the Alarm
To turn the alarm function on or off:
- Locate the alarm ON/OFF switch, usually a small lever or button, on the back or side of the clock.
- Slide the switch to the 'ON' position to activate the alarm. The alarm will sound at the set time.
- Slide the switch to the 'OFF' position to deactivate the alarm.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning
To maintain the appearance of your clock:
- Wipe the clock's surface with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the finish and internal components.
2. Battery Replacement
Replace the battery when the clock begins to lose time or stops functioning.
- Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the Setup section.
- Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.
Troubleshooting
- Clock not running:
Check if the AA battery is installed correctly with the correct polarity (+/-). Ensure the battery is fresh. - Alarm not sounding:
Verify that the alarm time is set correctly and that the alarm ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position. Check the battery. - Inaccurate time:
This usually indicates a low battery. Replace the AA battery with a new one.
