1. Introduction

The Edifier M3600D is a high-performance 2.1 active speaker system designed for multimedia use. 3. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Edifier M3600D speaker system:

1. Placement: Position the subwoofer on the floor, ideally near a wall for enhanced bass. Place the satellite speakers on either side of your listening area, ensuring they are equidistant from you for optimal stereo imaging.
2. Connect Satellite Speakers: Connect the right and left satellite speakers to the corresponding output ports on the rear of the subwoofer using the provided cables. The right satellite speaker typically features the volume control and input selection.
3. Connect Audio Source: Choose your preferred audio input method (Optical, Coaxial, Line In, or AUX) and connect the appropriate cable from your audio source (e.g., computer, TV, smartphone) to the subwoofer's input ports.

4. Operating Instructions

Once the system is set up, follow these instructions for operation:

• Power On/Off: Use the main power switch on the rear of the subwoofer to turn the system on or off.
• Volume Control: The large rotary dial on the front of the right satellite speaker controls the master volume. Rotate clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
• Input Selection: Press the volume dial on the right satellite speaker to cycle through the available audio inputs (Optical, Coaxial, Line In 1, Line In 2, AUX). An indicator light will show the currently selected input.
• Bass Adjustment: Use the 'Bass' control knob located on the rear panel of the subwoofer to adjust the bass level to your preference.
• Headphone Output: A 3.5mm headphone jack is available on the right satellite speaker for private listening. Plugging in headphones will mute the speakers.
