Setup

1. Battery Installation

The calculator operates using both solar power and a single LR44 alkaline battery, which is included. The battery provides power when lighting conditions are insufficient for solar operation.

1. Ensure the calculator is turned off.
2. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the calculator.
3. Carefully open the compartment cover.
4. Insert the LR44 battery, observing the correct polarity (+/-).

2. Power On/Off

• To turn on the calculator, press the ON/C key.
• To turn off the calculator, press 2nd F followed by OFF/C. The calculator will also automatically power off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.
