4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charge

Locate the Micro USB charging port on the side of the book light.
Connect the Micro USB cable to the port on the light.
Connect the other end of the USB cable to a suitable USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Turning On/Off

The Gingko Smart Book Light operates via its magnetic covers.

To turn on: Gently open the book light. The LED pages will illuminate automatically.
To turn off: Close the book light completely. The light will extinguish.

5.2 Adjusting Light Position

The magnetic covers allow for flexible positioning:

Open the book light up to 360 degrees to create various shapes and light angles.
The magnetic covers can also be attached to metal surfaces for alternative placement options.

6. Maintenance

Cleaning: Wipe the wooden covers with a soft, dry cloth. The Tyvek pages are water-resistant and can be gently wiped with a damp cloth if necessary. Ensure the device is off and unplugged before cleaning.
Storage: Store the book light in a cool, dry place when not in use.
Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge when the light dims noticeably.
