Wiring Connections

Initial Power-On and Basic Settings

After installation, reconnect the vehicle's negative battery terminal. Turn on the vehicle's ignition. Press the SOURCE button to power on the unit. The display will illuminate. You may need to set the clock and initial audio preferences.

Bluetooth Pairing

To use Bluetooth features, you must first pair your mobile device with the UTE-73BT.

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
  2. On the UTE-73BT, press the PHONE button or navigate to the Bluetooth menu.
  3. Select 'Pairing' or 'Add Device'. The unit will enter pairing mode.
  4. On your mobile device, search for available Bluetooth devices and select 'UTE-73BT'.
  5. Confirm the pairing code if prompted on both devices.
  6. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator on the receiver will illuminate steadily.

For optimal call quality, ensure the external microphone is properly positioned, typically near the driver's head.

Operating Instructions

Basic Controls

Radio Operation (AM/FM)

Bluetooth Audio and Hands-Free Calling

USB Playback

Connect a USB storage device containing FLAC, MP3, or WMA audio files to the USB port. The unit will automatically switch to USB source and begin playback.

Auxiliary Input

Connect an external audio player to the 3.5mm auxiliary input jack using a stereo audio cable. Select 'Auxiliary' as the source to listen to audio from the connected device.

Pandora Music

Connect your iPhone or Android phone running the Pandora app via Bluetooth or USB. Select 'Pandora' as the source to control Pandora directly from the receiver.

Sound Settings

Press the SETUP button or access the audio menu to adjust sound parameters.
