Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to set up your portable air conditioner:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the unit and all accessories from the packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Positioning: Place the unit on a flat, stable surface near a window and a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure there is at least 20 inches of space around the unit for proper airflow.
  3. Window Kit Installation:
    • Assemble the window shutter and exhaust pipe joints.
    • Attach the exhaust pipe to the unit's exhaust outlet.
    • Extend the exhaust pipe and connect it to the window kit.
    • Install the window kit into your window opening, ensuring a secure and sealed fit to prevent air leakage. Use the provided sponge for better sealing if needed.
  4. Drain Pipe Connection (Optional for Dehumidifier Mode): For continuous drainage in dehumidifier mode, connect the drain pipe to the drainage outlet at the back of the unit and direct it to a suitable container or floor drain.
  5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 115V, 60Hz electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Your portable air conditioner can be operated using the control panel on the unit, the included remote control, or the smartphone app.

Control Panel Operation

The control panel (refer to Figure 3) features an LCD display and various buttons:

  • Power Button: Turns the unit ON or OFF.
  • Mode Button: Cycles through Cool, Dry (Dehumidifier), and Fan modes.
  • Temperature Up/Down Buttons: Adjust the desired temperature setting.
  • Fan Speed Button: Selects High, Medium, or Low fan speed.
  • Timer Button: Sets the auto-on or auto-off timer.
  • Sleep Button: Activates Sleep Mode for quiet, energy-efficient operation.

Remote Control Operation

The wireless remote control provides convenient access to all functions from a distance. Ensure batteries are installed correctly (refer to Figure 2 for battery and screw location).

  • Point the remote directly at the unit's receiver.
  • Use buttons corresponding to the control panel for mode selection, temperature adjustment, fan speed, and timer settings.

Smartphone App Operation

Download the "Della+" app from your device's app store (Google Play or Apple App Store). Follow the in-app instructions to connect your unit to your home Wi-Fi network. The app allows for advanced control, including scheduling, remote temperature adjustment, and mode selection.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air conditioner.

Cleaning the Air Filter

The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality. A dirty filter can reduce cooling efficiency and airflow.

  1. Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
  2. Locate the air filter cover (refer to Figure 5) and open it.
  3. Remove the air filter.
  4. Wash the filter under running water (warm, soapy water if heavily soiled).
  5. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit. Do not expose to direct sunlight or excessive heat.
  6. Close the filter cover.

Water Drainage

The unit has a self-evaporation system, but in high humidity conditions, the internal water tank may fill up. The "Water Full" indicator on the control panel will illuminate when drainage is required.

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Place a shallow pan or container under the drainage outlet at the back of the unit.
  3. Remove the drain plug to allow water to flow out.
  4. Once drained, replace the drain plug securely.

Troubleshooting

Before contacting customer support, try the following solutions for common issues:
