Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean your headlamp, gently wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the unit. Ensure the USB-C port cover is securely closed before cleaning.

Storage

Store the headlamp in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to prolong its lifespan. Recharge every 3-6 months if not in regular use.

Troubleshooting

  • Headlamp not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source using the USB-C cable and check the charging indicator.
  • Light is dim or flickering: The battery may be low. Recharge the headlamp.
  • Headlamp not charging: Verify that the USB-C cable is properly connected to both the headlamp and the power source. Try a different USB port or charging adapter. Ensure the charging port is clean and free of debris.
  • Water ingress: Although IPX5 water-resistant, ensure the USB-C port cover is always securely closed when not charging to prevent water damage. If water has entered, allow the unit to dry completely before attempting to use or charge.
