Setup Instructions
1. Track Assembly
- Carefully unpack all track pieces.
- Connect the track pieces by aligning the connectors and pressing them firmly together until they click. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent derailments.
- You can create various layouts, including an oval or a figure-eight, using the provided straight, curved, and crossover pieces.
2. Battery Installation
Adult assembly and battery installation are required.
- Locomotive: The Thomas locomotive requires (4) AA batteries (not included). Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the locomotive, open it, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-), and close the compartment securely.
- Remote Control: The remote control requires (3) AAA batteries (not included). Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote, open it, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-), and close the compartment securely.
3. Water Vapor Smoke Effect
The Thomas locomotive features a water vapor smoke effect. To activate this feature:
- Locate the water filling port on the top of the locomotive, near the smokestack.
- Use the provided water bottle dropper to carefully fill the reservoir with clean water. Do not overfill.
- Replace the cap securely.

4. Attaching Passenger Cars
Connect the passenger cars to the locomotive and to each other using the fixed knuckle couplers. Ensure they are securely linked.

Operating Instructions
Once the track is assembled and batteries are installed, place the Thomas locomotive on the track. Ensure the wheels are properly seated on the rails.
Remote Control Functions

- Forward/Reverse Dial: Rotate the dial to move Thomas forward or backward.
- Stop Button: Press the central button to stop the train.
- Sound Buttons: Use the dedicated buttons to activate authentic train sounds, including Thomas & Friends announcements, bell, and whistle.
- Headlight: The locomotive features a working headlight that illuminates during operation.
- Water Vapor Smoke: The smoke effect will activate when the train is in motion, provided the water reservoir is filled.
Interchangeable Faces
The Thomas locomotive comes with three interchangeable faces to vary his expression. Gently remove the current face and snap a new one into place to change Thomas's mood.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the train and track components with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Do not immerse electronic components in water.
- Battery Storage: Always remove all batteries from the locomotive and remote control when the product is not in use for an extended period to prevent battery leakage and damage.
- Water Reservoir: Empty the water reservoir after each play session if the train will be stored for a long time.
Troubleshooting
