1. Important Safety Instructions

3. Crumb Tray Installation: Slide the removable crumb tray into its designated slot at the bottom front of the toaster. Ensure it is fully inserted.

3. Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Ensure the toaster is plugged in. The power indicator light (usually orange) will illuminate.
2. Select Toasting Mode:
   • Turn the left knob to select the desired toasting mode: "Bread" for standard bread slices or "Buns" for thicker items like bagels or buns.
   • The right knob controls the conveyor speed, which determines the toasting level. A slower speed results in darker toast.
3. Preheating: Allow the toaster to preheat for approximately 5-10 minutes before first use or after extended periods of inactivity. This ensures consistent toasting results.
4. Loading Product: Carefully place bread slices, bagels, or buns onto the conveyor belt at the front opening. Do not overload the conveyor.
5. Toasting Process: The conveyor will automatically carry the product through the heating elements. Toasted items will exit at the rear chute.
6. Adjusting Toasting Level: Adjust the right knob (conveyor speed) as needed to achieve your preferred level of browning. Experiment with different settings for various bread types.
7. Standby Mode: When not actively toasting, you can switch the toaster to "Standby" using the right knob to conserve energy while keeping the unit warm for quick resumption of operation.
8. Power Off: When finished, turn both knobs to the "Off" position and unplug the toaster from the power outlet.

4. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your AvaToast 140 Conveyor Toaster.

• Always unplug the toaster and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
