Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your CedarCraft Greenhouse Cover:

1. Assemble the Steel Frame: Connect the steel tube components using the plastic push-fit connectors. Ensure all connections are secure. The frame is designed for quick assembly.
2. Attach Frame to Planter: Position the assembled steel frame onto your compatible CedarCraft planter. Use the provided clips to secure the frame to the planter. This ensures stability and prevents the frame from shifting or being dislodged by wind.

3. Install the Greenhouse Cover: Drape the reinforced polyethylene cover over the assembled steel frame. The cover is designed to fit snugly over the frame.
4. Secure the Cover: The cover features Velcro tabs. Use these tabs to attach the cover securely to the steel frame. This helps maintain the microclimate and prevents the cover from being lifted by wind.

Operating Instructions

The CedarCraft Greenhouse Cover is designed for ease of use:

• Accessing Plants: The cover features dual zipper doors on the front. Unzip these doors to easily access your plants for watering, tending, or harvesting.

• Ventilation: For ventilation or extended access, the rolled doors can be held open using the integrated Velcro ties at the top of the frame.
• Removal: The entire cover, or the frame with the cover attached, can be easily removed from the planter if not needed, for example, during warmer months or for storage.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity of your CedarCraft Greenhouse Cover:

• Cleaning: Wipe the polyethylene cover with a damp cloth and mild soap as needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the material.
• Frame Inspection: Periodically check the steel frame and plastic joints for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure all connections remain secure.
• Zipper Care: Keep zippers clean and free of debris to ensure smooth operation. Lubricate with a silicone-based spray if they become stiff.
• Storage: When not in use, especially during extreme weather or off-season, clean the cover and frame, then store them in a dry, protected area to prevent damage.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your greenhouse cover, consider the following:

• Cover not fitting correctly: Ensure the steel frame is assembled correctly and fully seated in all plastic joints. Verify that the cover is oriented correctly on the frame.
• Instability in wind: Confirm that the frame clips are securely attached to the planter. In very high winds, additional anchoring may be necessary (not provided). Consider temporarily removing the cover during severe weather.
• Zipper sticking: Clean any dirt or debris from the zipper teeth. Apply a small amount of zipper lubricant or wax.
