3.4 DMX Connection (Optional)
For DMX control, connect a 5-pin XLR DMX cable from your DMX controller to the DMX IN port on the FT-200. Use the DMX OUT port to daisy-chain to other DMX devices.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Initial Power On and Preheating
- Ensure the unit is properly set up with fluid and connected to power.
- Flip the "ON/OFF" switch to the "ON" position.
- The unit will begin to preheat. The preheating time is approximately 7.5 minutes. The LCD display will indicate the status.
- Once preheating is complete, the unit is ready for operation.
4.2 Manual Operation
The FT-200 can be operated manually using the controls on the front panel or via the included W-2 wireless remote control.

Figure 4.2.1: Front view of the Antari FT-200, showing the main control panel with the LCD display, "TIMER" and "VOLUME" adjustment knobs, and the "ON/OFF" switch. These controls allow for precise management of fog output.
- TIMER Knob: Adjusts the interval between fog bursts.
- VOLUME Knob: Controls the intensity and duration of the fog output.
- ON/OFF Switch: Toggles the main power to the unit.
- LCD Display: Provides operational status and settings feedback.
4.3 Wireless Remote Control (W-2)
The included W-2 wireless remote allows for convenient remote operation of the fogger. Refer to the remote's separate instructions for pairing and specific functions.
4.4 Fog Output
Once activated, the FT-200 will produce a dense fog output. The fluid consumption rate is approximately 270 ml/min at maximum output.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your FT-200 fogger.
5.1 Cleaning
- Always disconnect power before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Periodically run a fog machine cleaning solution through the unit to prevent clogs in the heater coil. Follow the cleaning solution manufacturer's instructions.
5.2 Fluid Storage
Store fog fluid in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the fluid container is tightly sealed when not in use.
6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your FT-200 fogger. If the problem persists, contact qualified service personnel.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No fog output | No power; No fluid; Clogged nozzle/pump; Unit not preheated. | Check power connection; Refill fluid reservoir; Run cleaning solution; Wait for preheat indicator. |
| Weak fog output | Low fluid level; Partially clogged nozzle; Incorrect volume setting. | Refill fluid; Run cleaning solution; Adjust VOLUME knob. |
| Unit not heating up | Power issue; Heater element malfunction. | Check power connection; Contact service center. |
| Unusual noise from pump | Low fluid; Air in pump. | Refill fluid; Run unit until air is purged. |
