Introduction
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the proper use, setup, operation, and maintenance of your KAHLES K16i Riflescope. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Figure 1: KAHLES K16i Riflescope
The KAHLES K16i Riflescope is designed for precision and durability, offering exceptional optical clarity and a wide field of view. It features a 1-6x magnification range and a 24mm objective lens, making it suitable for various shooting applications.
Safety Information
- Always handle firearms and optics responsibly.
- Ensure the firearm is unloaded and safe before mounting or adjusting the riflescope.
- Do not look directly at the sun or any intense light source through the riflescope, as this can cause permanent eye damage.
- Keep the riflescope away from extreme temperatures and corrosive substances.
Setup and Mounting
Unpacking
Carefully remove the riflescope and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage. Retain the original packaging for future storage or transport.
Mounting the Riflescope
The KAHLES K16i is designed for Weaver Mount systems. Proper mounting is crucial for accuracy and consistent performance.
- Ensure the firearm is unloaded and pointed in a safe direction.
- Select appropriate 30mm scope rings that match your Weaver-style base.
- Attach the bottom halves of the scope rings to the firearm's rail, ensuring they are properly aligned and spaced to accommodate the riflescope's length.
- Place the K16i riflescope into the bottom halves of the rings.
- Attach the top halves of the rings, tightening the screws evenly and gradually to the manufacturer's recommended torque specifications. Avoid over-tightening.
- Adjust the riflescope's position for proper eye relief. The K16i has an eye relief of approximately 3.74 inches.
- Ensure the reticle is level with the firearm. A scope leveling tool is recommended for this step.

Operating Instructions
Magnification Adjustment
The K16i features a 1-6x magnification range. Rotate the magnification ring, located near the eyepiece, to adjust the magnification. The integrated throw lever allows for rapid changes in magnification, even in adverse conditions.
Diopter Adjustment
To achieve a sharp reticle image, adjust the diopter ring on the eyepiece. Point the scope at a plain, bright background (like the sky) and rotate the diopter ring until the reticle appears crisp and clear to your eye. This adjustment is personal and should be done before zeroing.
Reticle Illumination
The K16i features an illuminated 3GR reticle. The illumination control is typically located on the left side turret. Rotate the illumination dial to turn the illumination on/off and adjust its brightness level. The true daytime illumination ensures visibility in bright conditions.

This image displays the 3GR reticle pattern, which is a second focal plane reticle designed for quick target acquisition and precise aiming.
Windage and Elevation Adjustment
The windage (horizontal) and elevation (vertical) adjustments are made using the turrets. The elevation turret is typically on top, and the windage turret is on the right side. Each click of the turret moves the point of impact by a specific amount (e.g., 0.1 MIL or 1/4 MOA, refer to your specific model's specifications for click values). Rotate the turrets to zero your riflescope to your firearm and ammunition.
Note: Always refer to the specific click values and adjustment ranges printed on your riflescope or in the detailed product specifications for precise zeroing.
Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning Lenses: Use a soft brush to remove dust particles. For smudges or fingerprints, use a clean microfiber cloth and a lens cleaning solution specifically designed for optical lenses. Breathe lightly on the lens to fog it, then gently wipe with the cloth.
- Cleaning Body: Wipe the riflescope body with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the riflescope in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging or a protective case. Avoid areas with high humidity or extreme temperature fluctuations.
- Battery Replacement: If the reticle illumination dims or fails, replace the battery. Refer to the battery compartment for the correct battery type (typically a CR2032 coin cell).
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Blurred Reticle | Improper diopter adjustment. | Adjust the diopter ring until the reticle is sharp. |
| Poor Image Clarity | Dirty lenses; condensation; damaged optics. | Clean lenses; allow scope to acclimate to temperature; contact KAHLES support if optics are damaged. |
| Point of Impact Shift | Loose mounting rings; improper zeroing; parallax error. | Check and tighten mounting rings; re-zero the riflescope; adjust parallax if applicable (K16i is fixed parallax). |
| Illumination Not Working | Dead battery; improper battery insertion; faulty illumination module. | Replace battery; ensure correct polarity; contact KAHLES support. |
