The IQOS 2.4 Plus system consists of two main components: the IQOS Holder and the IQOS Pocket Charger.
- IQOS Holder: This is the device where the tobacco stick is inserted and heated. It features a heating blade, LED indicators, and a button.
- IQOS Pocket Charger: This portable charger recharges the Holder after each use and stores it when not in use. It has a main power button, status LEDs, and a charging port.
Setup
Initial Charging
- Before first use, fully charge your IQOS Pocket Charger. Connect the USB cable to the Pocket Charger and the EU Power Adapter.
- Plug the adapter into a wall outlet. The Pocket Charger status lights will blink to indicate charging.
- A full charge typically takes approximately 90 minutes. All four status lights will glow solid white when fully charged.
- Insert the IQOS Holder into the Pocket Charger. The Holder's LED will blink to indicate it is charging.
Operating Instructions
Using the IQOS Holder
- Ensure the Holder is charged. Remove it from the Pocket Charger.
- Gently insert a tobacco stick into the Holder, ensuring the tobacco end faces down, until it touches the heating blade. Do not twist the tobacco stick.
- Press and hold the Holder button until it vibrates and the LED light starts pulsing white. This indicates heating.
- Once the Holder vibrates again and the LED light turns solid white, the device is ready for use.
- The session lasts for approximately 6 minutes or 14 puffs, whichever comes first. The LED will pulse white and then turn off when the session is complete.
- To remove the used tobacco stick, slide the cap upwards, then gently pull out the stick. Do not twist.
- Place the Holder back into the Pocket Charger for recharging.
Bluetooth Functionality
The IQOS 2.4 Plus features Bluetooth connectivity. This allows you to connect your device to the IQOS Connect app (if available in your region) for additional features such as usage tracking, device status, and firmware updates. Refer to the IQOS website or app for detailed pairing instructions.
LED Indicators
- Holder LED (White): Solid white indicates ready for use. Pulsing white indicates heating or charging.
- Holder LED (Red): Indicates an error. Refer to the Troubleshooting section.
- Pocket Charger LEDs: Indicate the charge level of the Pocket Charger and the charging status of the Holder. Each light represents approximately 25% charge.
Maintenance
Regular cleaning of your IQOS device is essential for optimal performance and taste.
Cleaning the IQOS Holder
- Ensure the Holder is cool before cleaning.
- Remove the cap from the Holder.
- Use the IQOS Cleaning Brush to gently sweep away any tobacco residue from the heating chamber and around the heating blade. Avoid touching the heating blade directly with excessive force.
- For more thorough cleaning, use an IQOS Cleaning Stick. Gently wipe the inside of the heating chamber and around the blade.
- Clean the inside of the Holder cap as well.
- Do not use water or liquid cleaning agents.
Battery Care
- Store your device at room temperature.
- Avoid fully discharging the Pocket Charger frequently.
- If storing for an extended period, charge the device to about 50% and store in a cool, dry place.
Troubleshooting
