The Plantronics RIG 400HS is a wired gaming headset designed for use with PlayStation 4 consoles. 3. Setup

3.1 Connecting to PlayStation 4 Controller

  1. Locate the 3.5 mm audio port on your PlayStation 4 controller. This port is typically found at the bottom edge of the controller.
  2. Plug the 3.5 mm audio cable from the RIG 400HS headset firmly into the controller's audio port.
  3. Ensure the connection is secure to prevent audio interruptions.

3.2 Microphone Attachment

The microphone is detachable. To attach it, align the microphone's connector with the port on the left earcup of the headset and push it in until it clicks securely into place. To remove, gently pull the microphone straight out from the port.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Volume Control

The RIG 400HS features an in-line volume control on the audio cable. Rotate the wheel up or down to adjust the audio volume to your preferred level. You may also need to adjust the volume settings within your PlayStation 4 system menu.

4.2 Microphone Usage

To activate the microphone, ensure it is securely attached to the headset. The in-line control also includes a microphone mute switch. Slide the switch to the appropriate position to mute or unmute your microphone. For optimal voice clarity, position the microphone approximately one inch from your mouth.
