4. Setup
4.1 Speaker Placement
The SSCSE speakers offer flexible placement options to integrate into your home theater system. They can be used as up-firing Dolby Atmos speakers or as traditional surround speakers.
- On Top of Existing Speakers: For Dolby Atmos, place the SSCSE speakers directly on top of your front floorstanding or bookshelf speakers. The speakers are designed with an optimal angle to reflect sound off the ceiling, creating an overhead sound effect.
- Wall Mounting: The speakers can also be mounted on a wall to function as traditional surround speakers. Use the provided wall mount brackets and screws for secure installation. Ensure the speakers are positioned at an appropriate height and angle for your listening area.

For optimal Dolby Atmos performance, ensure your receiver supports Dolby Atmos and is configured correctly for a 5.1.2 or higher setup.

4.2 Wiring Connections
Connect the speakers to your AV receiver or amplifier using appropriate speaker cables (not included). Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -) for optimal sound reproduction.
- Locate the speaker terminals on the rear of each SSCSE speaker.
- Connect the positive (+) terminal of the speaker to the corresponding positive (+) terminal on your receiver.
- Connect the negative (-) terminal of the speaker to the corresponding negative (-) terminal on your receiver.
- Repeat this process for all speakers in your setup.

5. Operating Instructions
Once connected, ensure your AV receiver is powered on and configured for the correct speaker setup (e.g., 5.1.2 for Dolby Atmos). Refer to your AV receiver's manual for specific setup instructions. Adjust volume levels and audio settings on your receiver to achieve your desired sound experience.
For Dolby Atmos content, ensure your source material (Blu-ray, streaming service) supports Dolby Atmos and your receiver is decoding the signal correctly. The SSCSE speakers will then work in conjunction with your main speakers to create an immersive, three-dimensional sound field.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the speaker cabinets. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
- Grilles: The speaker grilles can be carefully removed for cleaning if necessary. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust. Reattach the grilles securely after cleaning.
- Placement: Avoid placing speakers in direct sunlight or near heat sources, which can affect performance and longevity.
