Operating Instructions

Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: The camera powers on automatically with vehicle ignition. To manually power on/off, press and hold the Power button.
  • Recording: Recording starts automatically when the device is powered on. A red dot indicator on the screen signifies active recording.
  • Emergency Lock: During recording, press the "Emergency Lock" button to protect the current video segment from being overwritten by loop recording.
  • Menu Navigation: Use the "Menu" button to access settings. Use the Up/Down buttons to navigate and "OK" to confirm.

Advanced Features

Loop Recording

The dash cam records video in continuous loops (e.g., 1, 3, or 5-minute segments). When the MicroSD card is full, the oldest unlocked files are automatically overwritten to make space for new recordings. Ensure important footage is locked or backed up.

G-Sensor (Gravity Sensor)

The built-in G-Sensor detects sudden impacts or rapid acceleration/deceleration. When triggered, it automatically locks the current video file, preventing it from being overwritten during loop recording. The sensitivity of the G-Sensor can be adjusted in the settings.

Parking Monitor (24H Parking Mode)

This feature allows the dash cam to continue monitoring your vehicle even when parked. It can be configured to record in different scenarios:

  • Collision Detection: Records when an impact is detected (requires hardwire kit for continuous power).
  • Motion Detection: Records when motion is detected in front of the camera.
  • Time-Lapse Monitoring: Records continuously at a low frame rate to save storage space.

A hardwire kit (sold separately, ASIN: B08M9UL327) is recommended for full 24H parking mode functionality to prevent draining your car battery.

  • View live footage.
  • Playback recorded videos.
  • Download videos to your phone.
  • Adjust camera settings.
  • Share footage directly from the app.

ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)

The dash cam includes ADAS features to enhance driving safety:

  • LDWS (Lane Departure Warning System): Alerts you if the vehicle drifts out of its lane.
  • FCW (Forward Collision Warning): Provides an alert if the system detects a potential front-end collision.

Maintenance

MicroSD Card Management

  • Formatting: It is recommended to format the MicroSD card regularly (e.g., once a month) to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption. This can usually be done through the camera's menu settings.
  • Card Lifespan: MicroSD cards have a limited number of write cycles. If you experience recording errors, consider replacing the card.

Cleaning the Device

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and screen.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the device.
