1. Introduction

  3. Using a small screwdriver, carefully remove the screw and open the battery cover.
  4. Remove the old LR44 battery and insert a new one, ensuring the correct positive (+) and negative (-) polarity.
  5. Replace the battery cover and secure it with the screw.

3.3. Turning On/Off

  • To turn ON the calculator, press the [ON/C] key.
  • To turn OFF the calculator, press [2nd F] followed by [OFF/C]. The calculator also features an auto-power-off function to conserve battery life after a period of inactivity.

3.4. Initial Reset

After battery replacement or if the calculator behaves erratically, a reset may be necessary. Press the [RESET] button located on the back of the calculator using a thin, pointed object (e.g., a straightened paper clip). This will clear all memory and settings.

Access trigonometric functions (sin, cos, tan), inverse trigonometric functions (sin-1, cos-1, tan-1), logarithms (log, ln), powers (xy, x2), and roots (√) directly or via the [2nd F] key.

  • Trigonometry: Use [sin], [cos], [tan]. For inverse functions, press [2nd F] then the respective key.
  • Logarithms: Use [log] (base 10) and [ln] (natural logarithm).
  • Powers and Roots: Use [x2] for squaring, [2nd F] then [x2] for square root (√). For general powers, use [yx].
  • Fractions: Use the [a b/c] key for entering and calculating with fractions.

4.3. Mode Settings

Press the [MODE] key to cycle through different calculation modes (e.g., Normal, Stat, Drill). Use the arrow keys to navigate and [=] to select.

4.4. Angle Units (DRG)
