Setup

3. Filling the Water Tank:

- Remove the 1.5 L water tank from the base unit.
- Fill the tank with clean tap water up to the MAX level indicator. The "No Calc Long Life" technology is designed to prevent limescale, allowing the use of tap water.
- Reinsert the water tank securely into the base unit.

4. Connecting to Power:
Plug the power cord into a suitable grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the specifications of the appliance.
Operating Instructions
1. Powering On and Heating Up:
- Press the power button on the base unit.
- The appliance will begin to heat up. This process takes approximately 2 minutes. The LED indicator on the iron handle will signal when the iron is ready for use.
2. Selecting an Ironing Program:
Turn the control dial on the base unit to select one of the 4 pre-set ironing programs:
- Universal: Suitable for most fabric types.
- Turbo: For stubborn creases and thicker fabrics, providing maximum steam output (up to 450g steam pulse).
- Delicate: For sensitive fabrics requiring lower heat and steam.
- Silk/Linen: Specific setting for silk and linen garments.

3. Ironing Techniques:
- Dry Ironing: If no steam is desired, simply use the iron without pressing the steam button.
- Steam Ironing: Press the steam button on the iron handle to release continuous steam. The 360° Fluid Curve Technology soleplate ensures optimal glide and even steam distribution.
- Steam Pulse (Vertical Ironing): For vertical ironing of hanging garments or curtains, press the steam pulse button to release powerful bursts of steam (up to 450g).

4. Continuous Refill (Unlimited Autonomy):
The 1.5 L removable water tank allows for continuous refilling during ironing sessions. When the water level is low, simply remove the tank, refill it, and reinsert it without needing to turn off the appliance.
5. Automatic Shut-off:
For safety and energy saving, the appliance features an automatic shut-off function if left inactive for a certain period.
Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Polti La Vaporella XM82C.
1. No Calc Long Life Boiler Technology:
This appliance features a special boiler technology designed to prevent the negative effects of limescale, extending the product's lifespan without requiring specific maintenance for descaling. You can use regular tap water.
2. Cleaning the Soleplate:
- Ensure the iron is unplugged and completely cool.
- Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive liquid cleaner, if necessary.
- Do not use abrasive pads or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the soleplate.

3. Cleaning the Exterior:
Wipe the exterior of the base unit and iron handle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
4. Storage:
- Ensure the appliance is unplugged and completely cool before storing.
- Empty any remaining water from the tank.
- Wrap the steam hose and power cord neatly around the designated storage areas on the base unit.
- Store the iron on its base in a dry, safe place, out of reach of children.
