2. Safety Information
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury, always follow these basic precautions:
- Read all instructions and safety information before installing your new fan and save these instructions.
- All wiring must be in accordance with national and local electrical codes. If you are unfamiliar with wiring, use a qualified electrician.
- Before you begin, disconnect power by turning off the circuit breakers at the main fuse box or circuit breaker panel.
- Ensure the installation site allows the fan blades to rotate without obstruction and that the blades are at least 7 feet (2.1 meters) from the floor.
- The outlet box and ceiling support structure must be securely mounted and capable of reliably supporting a minimum of 35 lbs (15.9 kg). Use only UL Listed outlet boxes marked "FOR FAN SUPPORT."
- Avoid placing objects in the path of the blades.
- Do not operate the fan if there is any damage to the housing or blades.

5. Operating Instructions
Once installed, your Bermuda ceiling fan is operated using the pull chains.
5.1 Fan Speed Control
The fan speed is controlled by one of the pull chains. Each pull cycles through the speeds:
- 1st Pull: High Speed
- 2nd Pull: Medium Speed
- 3rd Pull: Low Speed
- 4th Pull: Off
5.2 Light Control
The light kit is controlled by the second pull chain. Each pull will turn the light ON or OFF.
5.3 Reversible Airflow
Your fan features a reversible airflow switch, typically located on the motor housing. This switch allows you to change the direction of the fan blades for seasonal comfort:
- Downward Airflow (Summer): Set the switch to make the blades rotate counter-clockwise. This creates a cooling breeze.
- Upward Airflow (Winter): Set the switch to make the blades rotate clockwise. This draws cool air up, pushing warm air down, helping to circulate heat.
Always turn off the fan and wait for the blades to stop completely before changing the direction of the airflow switch.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your ceiling fan.
6.1 Cleaning
- Always turn off the power to the fan before cleaning.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the fan housing and blades. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Dust the blades regularly to prevent buildup, which can cause imbalance and noise.
6.2 Blade Care
The fan blades are reversible. To change the blade finish:
- Turn off power to the fan.
- Carefully unscrew the blades from the blade brackets.
- Flip the blades to expose the desired finish (White or Bleached Oak).
- Reattach the blades securely to the blade brackets.
6.3 Bulb Replacement
To replace the light bulbs:
- Turn off power to the fan and light.
- Allow bulbs to cool completely before touching.
- Carefully remove the frosted glass shades.
- Unscrew the old bulbs and replace them with new (3) 6W LED candelabra bulbs.
- Reattach the glass shades.
7. Troubleshooting
Before performing any troubleshooting, ensure the power to the fan is turned off at the circuit breaker.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
