4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. The charging port is located under a protective rubber flap to maintain its waterproof seal.

1. Open the protective flap covering the charging port.
2. Connect the small end of the supplied USB charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
3. Connect the larger end of the USB cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
4. The charging indicator light will illuminate (color may vary) to show the speaker is charging.
5. Once fully charged, the indicator light will change or turn off. Disconnect the cable and ensure the protective flap is securely closed to maintain waterproofing.

4.2. Mounting the Speaker

The speaker features a suction cup on its base, allowing it to be securely attached to smooth, non-porous surfaces like tiles, glass, or shower walls.

1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and smooth.
2. Press the suction cup firmly against the desired surface.
3. Check that the speaker is securely attached before releasing it.

Note: For best adhesion, occasionally clean the suction cup and the mounting surface.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for approximately 3 seconds. You will hear an audible tone, and an indicator light will flash.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for approximately 3 seconds. You will hear an audible tone, and the indicator light will turn off.

5.2. Bluetooth Pairing

To connect your speaker to a Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet, computer):

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and within 10 meters (33 feet) of your device.
2. The speaker will automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing blue LED light.
3. On your device, go to the Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
4. Search for available devices. The speaker will appear as "INTEMPO Shower Speaker" or a similar name.
5. Select the speaker from the list to connect.
6. Once successfully paired, you will hear a confirmation tone, and the LED light will stop flashing and remain solid blue.

Note: The speaker will attempt to reconnect to the last paired device automatically when powered on.

5.3. Music Playback

Once paired, you can control music playback directly from the speaker or your connected device:

• Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button (▶‖).
• Next Track: Press the Next Track button (⏭).
• Previous Track: Press the Previous Track button (⏮).
• Volume Up: Press and hold the Volume Up button (+).
• Volume Down: Press and hold the Volume Down button (-).

5.4. Call Handling

When connected to a smartphone, you can manage phone calls:

• Answer Call: When a call comes in, press the Call button (📞) once.
• End Call: During a call, press the Call button (📞) once.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the Call button (📞) for approximately 2 seconds.
