This manual provides essential instructions for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your Maxi-Cosi Zelia 5-in-1 Modular Travel System. Please read this manual thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference. The Zelia Travel System includes a versatile stroller and the Maxi-Cosi Mico 30 Infant Car Seat with its stay-in-car base, designed for children from birth up to 50 pounds (stroller) and 5 to 30 pounds (car seat).

2. Important Safety Information
Always prioritize your child's safety. Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury or death.
- Read All Instructions: Before assembling and using the travel system, read and understand all instructions provided in this manual and any accompanying car seat manuals.
- Child Weight Limits: The stroller is suitable for children up to 50 pounds. The Mico 30 Infant Car Seat is designed for infants weighing 5 to 30 pounds and up to 34 inches in height. Do not exceed these limits.
- Harness Use: Always secure your child with the 5-point harness system in both the car seat and stroller. Ensure straps are snug and properly adjusted.
- Supervision: Never leave your child unattended in the stroller or car seat.
- Brakes: Always engage the stroller brakes when parking or when the stroller is stationary.
- Folding/Unfolding: Keep children clear of moving parts when folding or unfolding the stroller to prevent finger entrapment.
- Accessories: Only use accessories approved by Maxi-Cosi. Unapproved accessories may compromise safety.
- Car Seat Installation: Ensure the Mico 30 Infant Car Seat is correctly installed in your vehicle using either the LATCH system or vehicle seat belt, following the car seat's instruction manual.
- Stroller Stability: Do not overload the storage basket (maximum 21.5 pounds) or hang bags on the handle, as this can cause the stroller to tip.
3. Setup and Assembly
Unpack all components and ensure you have all parts listed in the packaging. Assembly typically involves attaching wheels, the seat/carriage unit, and the car seat base.
3.1 Stroller Frame Assembly
- Unfold the Frame: Release the folding latch and unfold the stroller frame until it locks securely into place.
- Attach Wheels: Insert the front and rear wheels into their respective slots until they click. Ensure they are firmly attached.

3.2 Seat/Carriage Unit Installation
The Zelia stroller seat is convertible and can be used as a carriage (bassinet) or a toddler seat. It can be installed facing the parent or facing forward.
- Attach Seat Unit: Align the seat unit with the connectors on the stroller frame and push down until it clicks securely into place.
- Verify Connection: Gently pull up on the seat unit to ensure it is locked.

3.3 Mico 30 Infant Car Seat Installation
The Mico 30 Infant Car Seat can be used with its stay-in-car base or directly on the stroller frame.
- Car Seat Base: Install the stay-in-car base using either the LATCH system or the vehicle's seat belt, following the specific instructions in the Mico 30 manual. Ensure it is tightly secured.
- Attaching Car Seat to Base: Place the Mico 30 car seat onto the installed base until it clicks. Verify it is secure by gently pulling up.
- Attaching Car Seat to Stroller: Remove the stroller's seat unit. Align the Mico 30 car seat with the stroller frame connectors and push down until it clicks. Verify security.

4. Operation
4.1 5-in-1 Modular System Modes
The Zelia Travel System offers five modes of use:
- Carriage Mode (Parent-Facing): Ideal for newborns, allowing them to lie flat and face you.
- Car Seat on Stroller: Attach the Mico 30 Infant Car Seat directly to the stroller frame.
- Toddler Seat Mode (Parent-Facing): For older infants and toddlers, facing the parent.
- Carriage Mode (Forward-Facing): Allows older infants to lie flat and view the world.
- Toddler Seat Mode (Forward-Facing): For older infants and toddlers, facing forward.

4.2 Converting Seat Modes
To convert the seat from carriage to toddler seat or vice versa, locate the adjustment straps or levers on the back and underside of the seat unit. Follow the specific instructions in your product manual for detailed steps. The seat fully reclines for carriage mode in seconds.
4.3 Reversible Seat
To reverse the direction of the seat unit (parent-facing or forward-facing), press the release buttons on both sides of the seat unit, lift it off the frame, rotate, and reattach until it clicks securely.
4.4 Adjusting Handlebar
The handlebar height can be adjusted for user comfort. Locate the adjustment buttons on the sides of the handlebar, press them, and move the handle to the desired height. Release the buttons to lock.
4.5 Folding the Stroller
To fold the stroller, ensure the seat is in the forward-facing position (if applicable) and fully upright. Locate the folding mechanism (usually a lever or button on the handlebar or side of the frame) and follow the instructions to collapse the stroller. It is designed to stand upright when folded.
4.6 Canopy and Storage
- Extendable Canopy: The canopy can be extended to provide maximum UV protection. It also features a peek-a-boo window.
- Storage Basket: The spacious under-seat storage basket can hold up to 21.5 pounds. Do not exceed this weight limit.

4.7 Brake System
The stroller features a foot-operated brake system. Press the brake pedal down to engage the brakes and lift it up to release. Always ensure the brakes are fully engaged when the stroller is stationary.
4.8 Harness System
The 5-point harness system keeps your child secure. Adjust the shoulder straps to the appropriate height for your child's shoulders. Fasten the buckle and pull the adjustment strap to ensure a snug fit. To release, press the button on the buckle.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning Instructions
- Stroller Fabrics: The stroller fabrics are machine washable. Refer to the care label for specific temperature and cycle recommendations.
- Car Seat Fabrics: The Mico 30 Infant Car Seat features easily removable and washable seat pads. Machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent. Tumble dry on low heat or air dry.
- Frame and Plastic Parts: Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
5.2 General Care
- Regularly check all fasteners, rivets, and connections to ensure they are secure.
- Inspect wheels for wear and tear. Clean any debris from the wheel axles.
- Store the travel system in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, to prevent material degradation.
6. Troubleshooting
