5.2 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the robot. Place the robot onto the charging dock, aligning its charging contacts with those on the dock. The indicator light on the robot will show charging status. A full charge typically takes 4-5 hours.
5.3 Installing Side Brushes
Attach the two side brushes to the posts on the bottom of the robot. Press firmly until they click into place. Ensure they are correctly oriented (L for left, R for right).
5.4 Preparing the Cleaning Area
To optimize cleaning performance and prevent the robot from getting stuck, prepare the area:
- Remove power cords, small rugs, toys, and other obstacles.
- Open interior doors to allow the robot to clean multiple rooms.
- For mopping, remove any thick carpets or rugs from the cleaning path.
6. Operating the Robot

Press and hold the 'AUTO' button on the robot for 3 seconds to power it on or off.
6.2 Cleaning Modes
The AMIBOT Animal H2O offers various cleaning modes:
- Auto Cleaning: Press the 'AUTO' button on the robot or remote control. The robot will automatically clean in a systematic pattern, adapting to the environment.
- Spot Cleaning: Place the robot in a specific dirty area and select Spot Cleaning from the remote. The robot will clean in a spiral pattern.
- Edge Cleaning: Select Edge Cleaning from the remote. The robot will clean along walls and furniture edges.

6.4 Mopping Mode (H2O Tank)
To use the mopping function:
- Remove the dustbin and install the H2O water tank.
- Fill the water tank with clean water. A small amount of neutral floor cleaner can be added if desired.
- Attach a clean microfiber cloth to the bottom of the water tank. It is recommended to slightly dampen the cloth before starting for immediate mopping action.
- Start the robot in Auto or another desired cleaning mode. The robot will now vacuum and mop simultaneously.
Note: The mopping function is designed for light cleaning and maintaining floor cleanliness between deeper cleans. It is not intended for heavy scrubbing or removing stubborn stains.
6.5 Scheduling
The robot can be programmed to start cleaning at a specific time each day. Refer to the remote control instructions for detailed scheduling setup.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your AMIBOT Animal H2O.
7.1 Emptying the Dustbin
Empty the dustbin after each cleaning cycle. Press the release button and pull out the dustbin. Open the dustbin cover and discard collected debris.
7.2 Cleaning Filters
Tap the HEPA filter to remove dust. Rinse the primary filter and dustbin with water. Allow all components to air dry completely before reassembling. Replace the HEPA filter every 3-6 months, depending on usage.
7.3 Cleaning the Main Brush
Remove the main brush cover and lift out the brush. Use the provided cleaning tool to remove hair and debris tangled around the brush and its ends. Reinstall the brush and cover.
7.4 Cleaning Side Brushes
Periodically check the side brushes for tangled hair or debris. If necessary, remove them by unscrewing the central screw (a Phillips head screwdriver is required) and clean them. Replace if worn or damaged.
7.5 Cleaning the H2O Water Tank and Microfiber Cloth
After each mopping session, empty any remaining water from the tank. Remove and rinse the microfiber cloth. Allow both to air dry completely. The microfiber cloths are washable and reusable.
7.6 Cleaning Sensors and Charging Contacts
Wipe the cliff sensors, anti-collision sensors, and charging contacts on both the robot and the charging dock with a clean, dry cloth to ensure proper function.
