4. Setup

4.1 Power Connection

  1. Connect the power adapter to the DC input jack on the back of the unit.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet.
  3. For battery backup (to retain time settings during power outages), insert appropriate batteries into the battery compartment (batteries not included).

4.2 Initial Time Setting

Upon first power-up or after a power reset, the display may flash. Follow these steps to set the current time:

  1. Press and hold the 'TIME SET' button (location may vary, refer to device markings).
  2. While holding 'TIME SET', use the 'HOUR' and 'MINUTE' buttons to adjust the time.
  3. Release the 'TIME SET' button to confirm.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Setting Alarms (A1/A2)

Your device supports two independent alarms. To set an alarm:

  1. Press and hold the 'ALARM 1' or 'ALARM 2' button.
  2. Use the 'HOUR' and 'MINUTE' buttons to set the desired alarm time.
  3. Press the 'ALARM 1' or 'ALARM 2' button again to confirm.
  4. To activate/deactivate the alarm, press the respective 'ALARM' button briefly until the A1 or A2 indicator appears/disappears on the display.

5.2 Radio Operation (FM PLL)

  1. Press the 'RADIO' button to turn on the FM radio.
  2. To manually tune, press the 'TUNE +/-' buttons.
  3. To auto-scan for stations, press and hold the 'TUNE +/-' button. The radio will stop at the next strong station.
  4. To save a station to memory, tune to the desired station, then press and hold the 'MEM' button. Use 'TUNE +/-' to select a preset number, then press 'MEM' again to confirm.
  5. To recall a saved station, press the 'MEM' button briefly and then use 'TUNE +/-' to cycle through presets.

5.3 Snooze and Sleep Functions

  • Snooze: When an alarm sounds, press the 'SNOOZE' button to temporarily silence it. The alarm will sound again after a set interval (e.g., 9 minutes).
  • Sleep: To set the radio to turn off automatically after a certain period, press the 'SLEEP' button repeatedly to cycle through available sleep times (e.g., 15, 30, 60, 90 minutes). The 'SL' indicator will appear.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

6.2 Battery Replacement

If the battery backup function is not working, replace the batteries in the compartment with new ones of the specified type and polarity.
