Setup
1. Powering On
- Connect the provided power cord to the camera's micro USB port.
- Connect the other end of the power cord to a compatible USB power adapter (not included).
- Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet. The camera will power on and begin its initialization sequence.
2. App Installation and Account Creation
- Download the "Mi Home" app from your device's app store (Google Play Store for Android, Apple App Store for iOS).
- Open the Mi Home app and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new account or log in with an existing one.
3. Adding the Camera to the App
- In the Mi Home app, tap the "+" icon in the top right corner to add a new device.
- Select the "Mi Home Security Camera 360° 1080P" from the list of available devices.
- Follow the app's prompts to connect the camera to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your Wi-Fi password is correct.
- The app will generate a QR code. Hold your mobile device with the QR code in front of the camera lens (approximately 15-30 cm away) until the camera announces "QR code scanned successfully."
- Wait for the camera to connect to the network. Once connected, it will announce "Connected to Wi-Fi successfully."
- You can then name your camera and assign it to a specific room within the app.
4. Mounting the Camera (Optional)
The camera can be placed on a flat surface or mounted on a wall or ceiling using the included wall accessory kit. For inverted installation, ensure to enable the "Inverted Image" option in the camera settings within the Mi Home app.

Operating Instructions
Live View and Pan/Tilt Control
- Open the Mi Home app and select your camera from the device list to access the live view.
- Use the on-screen joystick or swipe gestures to control the camera's pan (0°-360°) and tilt (-20°-95°) movements.
Two-Way Audio
- Tap the microphone icon in the live view interface to enable two-way audio. You can speak through your phone, and your voice will be projected through the camera's speaker.
- Tap the speaker icon to listen to audio from the camera's surroundings.
Motion Detection and Alerts
- Navigate to the camera settings within the Mi Home app.
- Enable "Motion Detection" and configure sensitivity levels and detection zones as needed.
- Enable "Alarm Notification" to receive real-time alerts on your mobile device when motion is detected.
Night Vision
- The camera automatically switches to infrared night vision in low-light conditions.
- You can manually toggle night vision mode in the app settings if desired.
Video Storage
- Insert a MicroSD card (up to 64GB, not included) into the camera's MicroSD card slot for local video storage.
