4. Setup and Installation
Professional installation is recommended for this hardwired, ceiling-mounted fixture.
- Prepare for Installation:
- Turn off electrical power at the main fuse box or circuit breaker.
- Clear the work area and ensure you have all necessary tools (screwdriver, wire strippers, ladder, etc.).
- Attach Mounting Plate:
- Secure the mounting plate to the junction box in the ceiling using the provided screws. Ensure it is firmly attached.

- Adjust Chain Length:
- Determine the desired hanging height for the chandelier. Adjust the chain length by removing links as needed.
- Feed the electrical wires through the chain and canopy.
- Make Electrical Connections:
- Connect the fixture's ground wire (usually bare copper or green) to the house ground wire.
- Connect the fixture's hot wire (usually black) to the house hot wire (black).
- Connect the fixture's neutral wire (usually white) to the house neutral wire (white).
- Secure all connections with wire nuts and wrap with electrical tape for added safety.
- Secure Canopy:
- Carefully push the wires into the junction box.
- Raise the canopy to the ceiling and secure it to the mounting plate with the provided screws.
- Install Bulbs:
- Screw fourteen (14) A19 medium base (E26) bulbs into the sockets. Do not exceed 60 watts per bulb. LED bulb compatible.

- Restore Power:
- Turn the electrical power back on at the main fuse box or circuit breaker.

5. Operating Instructions
The Elk Home Delphine Chandelier is operated via a standard wall switch. It is designed to be dimmable, allowing you to adjust the light output when connected to a compatible dimmer switch (sold separately) and using dimmable bulbs.
6. Maintenance
