1. Introduction

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

1. Turn the scale over to access the battery compartment on the underside.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert three (3) 1.5V AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 App Installation

1. Search for the official ProfiCare app on your smartphone's app store (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
2. Download and install the free application.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to create a user profile within the app.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone or tablet.
2. Open the ProfiCare app.
3. Step onto the scale to activate it. The display will light up.
4. The app should automatically detect and connect to the scale. If not, follow the pairing instructions provided within the app.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Taking a Measurement

1. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface. Avoid carpets or uneven floors.
2. Ensure your feet are clean and dry.
3. Step onto the scale barefoot. Stand still with your weight evenly distributed.
4. The scale will automatically turn on (Step-On function) and display your weight.
5. After a few seconds, the scale will perform the full diagnostic analysis.
6. Your measurements will be displayed on the LCD and automatically transmitted to the ProfiCare app via Bluetooth.

5.2 Switching Measurement Units

The scale supports measurement in kilograms (kg), pounds (lb), and stone:pounds (st:lb). To switch units, locate the unit switch button on the underside of the scale (usually near the battery compartment) and press it to cycle through the available units.

5.3 User Profiles

The scale can store data for up to 10 different users. User profiles are managed through the ProfiCare app. Ensure you select the correct user profile in the app before taking a measurement to ensure data is assigned accurately.
