1. Introduction and Safety Information

2. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to set up your Miele Complete C3 Calima vacuum cleaner:

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts listed in the packing contents are present.
2. Attaching the Hose: Insert the hose connector into the suction opening on the vacuum cleaner until it clicks securely into place.
3. Assembling the Wand and Floorhead: Connect the telescopic suction wand to the hose handle. Then, attach your desired floorhead (Turbobrush or Parquet Twister) to the end of the telescopic wand.
4. Inserting the Dustbag: Open the dustbag compartment by pressing the release button. Ensure a HyClean dustbag is correctly inserted and sealed. The vacuum comes with one pre-installed.
5. Checking Filters: Verify that the motor protection filter and the HEPA Lifetime filter are correctly seated. These are typically pre-installed.

3. Operating Instructions

• Power On/Off: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. Press the large foot switch with the power symbol (①) on the vacuum cleaner to turn it on or off.
• Adjusting Suction Power: The vacuum features convenient foot switches for suction control. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to select from 6 cleaning modes, optimizing suction for different surfaces without bending down. The selected mode will be indicated by illuminated icons.

• Using Floorheads:
  • Turbobrush Floorhead: Ideal for low-medium pile carpets. The air-driven rotating brush effectively removes lint and pet hair.
  • Parquet Twister Floorhead: Designed for effortless cleaning of hard floors. Its soft natural bristles glide gently and smoothly across delicate surfaces.
• Integrated Accessories: The vacuum includes three integrated attachments conveniently stored in a compartment on the top of the unit: upholstery nozzle, crevice nozzle, and dusting brush. These are always at hand for specialized cleaning tasks.

• Comfort Cable Rewind: The power cord is easily wound with a foot control. Simply tap the foot switch to quickly retract the cord without bending down.
• Parking System: For quick breaks during cleaning, hook the floorhead onto the rear of the vacuum cleaner using the parking system.

4. Maintenance

• Changing the Dustbag: Replace the HyClean dustbag when the dustbag change indicator fills completely. The automatic sealing mechanism ensures hygienic disposal.
