3. Setup

4.1 Key Layout and Switches

4.2 Rainbow LED Backlight

  • Keycap Removal: Use the provided keycap removal tool to carefully detach keycaps for cleaning or replacement. Gently pull the keycap straight up with the tool.
  • Hot-Swappable Switches: The RK-84 features a 3-pin hot-swappable socket, allowing for easy replacement of individual switches without soldering. Use a switch puller (not included) to remove switches if needed.
