Setup

1. Battery Installation:

  1. Open the battery compartment cover located at the bottom of the trigger.
  2. Insert two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Mounting on Camera:

  1. Slide the XPro-S trigger onto the hot shoe of your Sony camera.
  2. Tighten the locking ring to secure the trigger in place.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off:

Use the ON/OFF switch located on the side of the unit to power the trigger on or off.

Basic Functions:

  • TTL Autoflash: Fully supports TTL autoflash for automatic exposure control.
  • High-Speed Sync (HSS): Achieves sync speeds up to 1/8000s, allowing for wider apertures in bright conditions.
  • Multi Flash: Supports multiple flashes for creative lighting effects.
  • Manual Flash: Allows precise manual control over flash output.
  • Flash Exposure Compensation (FEC): Adjust flash output for desired exposure.

TCM Transform Function:

The TCM (TTL Convert Manual) button allows for quick conversion of TTL flash values to manual power output.

  • Long press TCM button: Transforms the flash value in TTL mode into an output value in Manual (M) mode.
  • Short press TCM button: Allows groups to switch between single-group and multi-group mode.

Wireless Control (2.4G Godox X System):

The XPro-S utilizes the built-in Godox 2.4G Wireless X System for reliable remote control of flashes.

  • Groups and Channels: Features 16 groups and 32 channels for flexible wireless control.
  • Wireless ID Settings: Supports 01 to 99 wireless ID settings. Triggering only occurs when the channels and wireless IDs of the master (XPro-S) and slave units are identical, effectively preventing signal interference.
  • Range: Can trigger and control flashes at a distance of up to 100 meters.

Versatile Using Methods:

The XPro-S can function in several ways:

  • As a Wireless Godox Flash Trigger (for camera flash, outdoor flash, and studio flash).
  • As a Wireless Sony Camera Flash Trigger.
  • As a Wireless Shutter Release Trigger.
  • As a Flash (without Godox X system) Trigger with a 2.5mm Sync Cord Jack.
  • Can control Sony original flashes (e.g., F42AM, HVL-45RM, HVL-F60M, HVL-F43M, HVL-F32M, F58AM) when used in combination with the Godox X1R-S receiver (sold separately).

Single Contact Triggering:

When this feature is enabled, the speed of burst mode shooting can be significantly increased, as flashes are triggered in rapid succession with shorter intervals.

Maintenance

  • Keep the device dry. Do not handle with wet hands.
