1. Introduction

2. Setup

Before operating your Digitone, ensure all connections are secure and correct.

2.1. Unpacking and Contents

Carefully remove the Digitone from its packaging. Verify that all included components are present:

2.2. Connecting Power

Connect the provided PSU-3c power supply to the 12V DC input on the rear of the Digitone. Plug the power supply into a suitable wall outlet. The unit is designed for 12V DC, 1A power input.

2.3. Audio Connections

The Digitone features stereo audio inputs and outputs. Use standard 1/4-inch TS cables for audio connections.

  • Main Outputs (Left/Right): Connect these to your mixer, audio interface, or amplifier.
  • Inputs (Left/Right): Connect external audio sources here for processing through the Digitone's effects.
  • Headphones: Connect stereo headphones to the dedicated output for monitoring.

2.4. MIDI and USB Connections

3. Operating the Digitone

The Digitone's interface is designed for hands-on control and intuitive workflow. Familiarize yourself with the main controls and display.

  • OLED Screen: Displays parameters, menus, and sequence information.
  • Rotary Encoders (A-H): Used for adjusting parameters displayed on the screen.
  • Level/Data Knob: Controls master volume and navigates data/sound browser.
  • Function (FUNC) Button: Accesses secondary functions of buttons.
  • TRK Buttons (1-16): Select tracks, act as sequencer steps, and trigger sounds.
  • SYN, FLTR, AMP, LFO, FX Buttons: Access synthesis, filter, amplifier, LFO, and effects parameters respectively.
  • Transport Controls: Play, Stop, Record.

3.2. Basic Operation

To begin, power on the unit. The OLED screen will display the current project and pattern. Use the Level/Data knob to browse through sounds or data. Select a track using the TRK buttons. Adjust synthesis parameters using the SYN button and the A-H encoders. Experiment with the built-in effects by pressing the FX button and modifying parameters.

3.3. Sequencing
