Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective use of your INGCO ATG0601 Tire Inflating Gun. Please read this manual thoroughly before operation and retain it for future reference. This tool is designed for inflating vehicle tires using an air compressor.
Safety Information
Always observe basic safety precautions when using this product to reduce the risk of injury or damage.
- Wear appropriate eye protection during operation.
- Ensure the air compressor is turned off and depressurized before connecting or disconnecting the inflating gun.
- Do not exceed the maximum pressure rating of the tire being inflated or the inflating gun itself (320psi).
- Keep children and bystanders away from the work area during operation.
- Inspect the hose, connections, and gauge for any signs of damage or wear before each use. Do not use if damaged.
- Use only with a clean, dry air supply.
Product Overview
The INGCO ATG0601 Tire Inflating Gun is a robust tool designed for accurate and efficient tire inflation when connected to an air compressor. It features a durable construction and an easy-to-read pressure gauge.

Figure 1: INGCO ATG0601 Tire Inflating Gun. This image displays the complete tire inflating gun assembly, including the yellow gun body, the attached pressure gauge, and the black rubber hose with a clip-on connector.
Key Components:
- Pressure Gauge: A 63.5mm diameter gauge that displays pressure in psi (0-174psi), bar (0-12 bar), and kPa (0-1200 kPa). It is protected by a rubber cover.
- Rubber Hose: A 350mm (13.8-inch) heavy-duty rubber hose equipped with a clip-on connector for hands-free operation.
- Inflating Gun Body: Features a comfort grip durable plastic body and a non-slip sleeve on the trigger for enhanced control.
- Air Inlet: A 6.3mm (1/4-inch) air inlet tube connector for attaching to an air compressor hose.

Setup
Follow these steps to set up your tire inflating gun for use:
- Prepare Air Compressor: Ensure your air compressor is turned off and depressurized before attempting to connect the inflating gun.
- Connect Air Inlet: Attach the 1/4-inch air inlet connector of the inflating gun to your air compressor's air hose. Twist firmly to ensure a secure, airtight connection.
- Inspect Connections: Before turning on the air compressor, double-check all connections for any potential air leaks.
Operating Instructions
Use the following procedure to inflate tires:
- Determine Desired Pressure: Locate the recommended tire pressure (PSI or Bar) for your vehicle. This information is typically found in your vehicle's owner's manual, on a sticker inside the driver's side door jamb, or on the tire sidewall.
- Attach to Tire Valve: Press the clip-on connector of the rubber hose firmly onto the tire valve stem. The clip should lock into place, providing a secure, hands-free connection.
- Inflate Tire: Turn on your air compressor. Squeeze the trigger on the inflating gun to begin air flow into the tire.
- Monitor Pressure: While inflating, observe the pressure gauge. Release the trigger periodically to get an accurate reading of the current tire pressure. Continue inflating until the desired pressure is reached.
- Remove Connector: Once the desired pressure is achieved, release the clip-on connector from the tire valve stem. Turn off and depressurize your air compressor.

Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and reliable performance of your inflating gun.
- Cleaning: Wipe the inflating gun with a clean, dry cloth after each use to remove dirt and debris. Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: Store the inflating gun in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture, and extreme temperatures.
- Hose Inspection: Regularly check the rubber hose for any signs of cracks, cuts, kinks, or excessive wear. Replace the hose if any damage is observed to prevent air leaks and ensure safety.
- Gauge Protection: The pressure gauge is equipped with a protective rubber cover. Ensure this cover remains in place to shield the gauge from impacts and damage.
Troubleshooting
Refer to the table below for common issues and their solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Air leaks from connections | Loose connections, damaged seals or O-rings | Tighten all connections securely. Inspect and replace any damaged seals or O-rings. |
| Gauge not reading pressure or inaccurate readings | No air supply, faulty gauge, valve stem not fully engaged, debris in valve | Ensure air compressor is on and connected. Re-attach the clip-on connector firmly to the tire valve stem. Check for debris in the valve stem. If the issue persists, the gauge may be faulty and require replacement. |
| Slow inflation or no air flow | Low air compressor pressure, air leaks, partially blocked hose or nozzle | Check the air compressor's pressure and ensure it is adequate. Inspect all connections for leaks. Clear any obstructions in the hose or the nozzle of the inflating gun. |
