Setup and Preparation

Operating Instructions (Application)
- Weeding: After cutting, remove the excess vinyl from around your design using a weeding tool. Carefully peel away the unwanted parts, leaving only your desired design on the liner.
- Applying Transfer Tape: Cut a piece of transfer tape slightly larger than your design. Place the transfer tape over your weeded design and use a squeegee or credit card to firmly burnish (rub) the tape onto the vinyl, ensuring good adhesion.
- Peeling from Liner: Slowly peel the transfer tape away from the vinyl liner at a 45-degree angle. The vinyl design should lift off the liner and stick to the transfer tape. If parts don't lift, lay the tape back down and burnish again.
- Applying to Surface: Position your design (with transfer tape) onto your prepared surface. Once positioned, firmly burnish the design onto the surface using a squeegee or credit card, working from the center outwards to remove air bubbles.
- Removing Transfer Tape: Slowly and carefully peel the transfer tape away from the applied vinyl at a 45-degree angle. The vinyl design should remain adhered to the surface. If any part lifts, lay the tape back down, burnish, and try again.

Maintenance and Care
- Curing Time: Allow the vinyl to cure for at least 24-48 hours after application before washing or exposing to harsh conditions.
- Washing (for items like mugs): Hand washing is recommended for items decorated with EasyPSV Permanent vinyl. Avoid abrasive scrubbers or harsh detergents. Do not soak.
- Dishwasher Use: While EasyPSV Permanent is durable, dishwasher use is not recommended as high heat and harsh detergents can degrade the adhesive over time.
- Storage: Store unused vinyl sheets flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent curling or damage to the adhesive.
Troubleshooting
- Vinyl not cutting cleanly:
- Adjust your blade depth and pressure settings. Perform a test cut to find the optimal settings for your machine and the specific vinyl color/finish.
- Vinyl not sticking to transfer tape:
- Ensure you are burnishing firmly and evenly over the entire design. Try peeling the transfer tape slower and at a sharper angle (closer to 180 degrees) if needed. Ensure the vinyl is not too cold.
- Vinyl not sticking to the application surface:
- Verify the surface is clean, dry, and smooth. Burnish the design onto the surface very firmly. Allow adequate cure time before handling. Some textured surfaces may not be suitable for adhesive vinyl.
- Air bubbles under the applied vinyl:
- Apply the vinyl slowly, working from the center outwards. For small bubbles, you can gently prick them with a fine needle and smooth them out.
