Setup

Battery Installation

Your Taylor Digital Glass Bathroom Scale comes with 3 AAA batteries included. Before first use, or when the low battery indicator appears, you will need to install or replace the batteries.

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
2. Using a small Phillips head screwdriver, carefully unscrew the battery compartment cover.
3. Remove any protective plastic tab if present, or old batteries if replacing.
4. Insert 3 new AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
5. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.

Note: Ensure the scale is placed on a hard, flat surface for accurate readings. Soft surfaces like carpet can affect accuracy.

Operating Instructions

Taking a Measurement

The Taylor Digital Glass Bathroom Scale utilizes instant-on technology for quick and easy measurements.

1. Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Avoid carpets or uneven flooring.
2. Gently step onto the center of the scale platform with bare feet. The scale will automatically turn on.
3. Stand still and distribute your weight evenly.
4. Your weight will be displayed on the LCD screen. The reading will flash a few times before locking.
5. Step off the scale. The scale will automatically turn off after a few seconds to conserve battery life.

Changing Weight Units (lb/kg/st)

To switch between pounds (lb), kilograms (kg), or stones (st), locate the unit conversion button on the underside of the scale, usually near the battery compartment. Press this button to cycle through the available units until your desired unit is displayed.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the scale surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or submerging the scale in water.
• Storage: Store the scale in a dry place at room temperature. Avoid extreme temperatures or high humidity.
• Care: Do not drop the scale or subject it to strong impacts, as this may damage the sensors.
