5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the soother. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the back of the device and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge typically takes approximately 3-4 hours and provides several hours of operation depending on usage.

5.2 Placement

Place the soother on a stable, flat surface in your baby's nursery or bedroom. For optimal projection, position the device a few feet away from the ceiling. Ensure it is out of your baby's reach.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the Power Button (usually marked with a circle and vertical line) on the back of the device to turn it on or off.

6.2 Sound Selection

The soother comes with 22 built-in melodies and a selection of nature sounds. Use the Sound Selection Buttons (often marked with musical notes or arrows) to cycle through the available sounds. The device offers 35 minutes of uninterrupted soothing sounds.

6.3 Volume Control

Adjust the sound volume using the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons on the control panel.

6.4 Projection and Nightlight

Activate the starlight projection and the soft glowing nightlight by pressing the dedicated Light Button (often marked with a star or lightbulb icon). The nightlight is integrated into the hedgehog's belly.

6.5 Auto Timer

Set the auto timer for 15, 30, or 60 minutes using the Timer Button. The device will automatically turn off after the selected duration.

6.6 Cry Sensor Activation

The smart sensor automatically activates soothing music and lights when your baby cries. To enable this feature, ensure the cry sensor switch is in the "ON" position (refer to Figure 4.2 for switch location). The sensor is designed to detect crying and respond by playing the last selected sound and activating the lights.

6.7 Custom Music (MP3)

You can download up to an hour of your baby's favorite songs directly into the soother via the built-in MP3 port. Connect the device to your computer using the USB cable. The soother will appear as a removable drive. Drag and drop your MP3 files into the device's storage. Ensure the files are in MP3 format. Once uploaded, you can select these custom songs using the sound selection buttons.

7. Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
• Storage: Store the soother in a cool, dry place when not in use.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly.
