Assembly Instructions

1. Assemble the track layout using the provided pieces. Ensure all connections are secure.
2. Attach the Turbo Thomas train to the track.
3. Position the train on the Booster Tracks as indicated in the set design.
4. Set up the jungle temple and palm trees in their designated locations on the track layout.

Operating Instructions

Powering the Train

• The Turbo Thomas motorized train requires 2 AAA batteries (not included).
• Insert batteries into the train according to the polarity markings.

Basic Operation

• Place the Turbo Thomas train on the track.
• Turn on the train using the switch located on its underside.
• The train will begin to move along the track layout.

Using Booster Tracks for Speed Control

The set features two Booster Tracks that allow you to control the speed of the Turbo Thomas train.

• To activate "Turbo" mode: Flip the switch on a Booster Track so the color turns green. When Thomas passes over this track, he will launch into Turbo mode, traveling up to 2.5 times faster than standard TrackMaster engines.
• To return to normal speed: Send Thomas over a Booster Track while its switch is set to yellow. This will slow him down from Turbo mode.

Jungle Temple Stunt

The Turbo Thomas train is designed to perform an exciting stunt by launching off the rails and soaring through the jungle temple.

Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your train set:

• Keep the track pieces clean and free of dust or debris.
• Wipe the train and track components with a dry cloth. Do not immerse in water.
• Remove batteries from the train if it will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

Troubleshooting

If the train is not functioning as expected:

• Ensure batteries are correctly inserted and are not depleted. Replace with fresh batteries if necessary.
• Check all track connections to ensure they are securely fastened.
• Verify that the train's wheels are clean and free from obstructions.
• Confirm that the Booster Track switches are correctly set for the desired speed mode (green for turbo, yellow for normal).
