Setup

1. Charging the Headphones

Before initial use, fully charge the headphones. Connect the supplied Micro USB cable to the charging port on the headphones and to a USB power source. The indicator light will show charging status. A full charge provides up to 20 hours of playback time.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the headphones are powered off.
  2. Press and hold the power button for approximately 7 seconds until the indicator light flashes blue and red alternately. This indicates pairing mode.
  3. On your Bluetooth device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select "WH-CH400" from the list of detected devices.
  5. Once connected, the indicator light will flash blue slowly.
  6. The Bluetooth range is approximately 10 meters (33 feet).

3. NFC One-Touch Connection

For NFC-compatible devices, you can establish a connection with a single touch:

  1. Ensure NFC is enabled on your smartphone or device.
  2. Touch the N-Mark on the left earcup of the headphones to the N-Mark on your NFC-compatible device.
  3. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the connection.

Operating the Headphones

Power On/Off

Volume Control

Use the volume buttons located on the earcup to adjust the audio level. Press '+' to increase volume and '-' to decrease volume.

Music Playback

Hands-Free Calling

The built-in microphone allows for hands-free phone calls.

Voice Assistant

Activate your smartphone's voice assistant (e.g., Google Assistant, Siri) by pressing and holding the multi-function button for approximately 2 seconds when not on a call.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting

No Power:
Ensure the headphones are charged. Connect them to a power source using the Micro USB cable.
Cannot Pair with Bluetooth Device:
  • Ensure the headphones are in pairing mode (indicator flashes blue and red).
  • Make sure the Bluetooth function on your device is enabled.
  • Place the headphones and your device within 1 meter (3 feet) of each other during pairing.
  • If previously paired, try deleting "WH-CH400" from your device's Bluetooth list and re-pairing.
No Sound or Low Volume:
  • Check the volume levels on both the headphones and your connected device.
  • Ensure the headphones are properly connected to your device via Bluetooth.
  • If using an NFC connection, ensure the connection was successful.
Sound Skips or Intermittent Connection:
  • Move closer to your connected device to reduce interference.
  • Avoid obstacles between the headphones and the device.
  • Turn off other wireless devices that may cause interference.
