Setup
Battery Installation
The Pritech CC-0109 calculator requires 1 AA battery (included) for backup power. While the calculator primarily uses solar energy, the AA battery ensures operation in low-light conditions. To install or replace the battery:
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the calculator.
- Slide the cover off.
- Insert the AA battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery compartment cover.

Initial Power On
Press the ON button to turn on the calculator. The display should light up. If the display does not appear, ensure the battery is correctly installed and there is sufficient light for solar operation.

- Check the current mode (e.g., DEG, RAD, GRAD) and adjust if necessary.
- Consider resetting the calculator if persistent errors occur.
- Calculator is unresponsive:
- Press the ON button.
- If unresponsive, try pressing the RESET button (usually a small button on the back, requiring a thin object like a paperclip). Note that resetting may clear memory contents.
