4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

The gauge requires 3 x AAA batteries (not included) for operation.

Locate the battery compartment cover on the rear of the gauge.
Gently slide or unclip the cover to open it.
Insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
Replace the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 Gauge Installation

Before installation, ensure the system is depressurized and clean the connection port.

Apply thread sealant (e.g., PTFE tape) to the G1/4 connector threads of the gauge.
Carefully screw the gauge into the corresponding G1/4 port on your system.
Tighten the gauge firmly by hand, then use a wrench to secure it, ensuring not to overtighten.
Once installed, slowly repressurize the system and check for any leaks around the connection.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press the On/Off button (power symbol) to turn the gauge on or off.

5.2 Unit Conversion

Press the UNIT/ZERO button to cycle through available pressure units: MPa, PSI, Kgf/cm², and Bar.

5.3 Zeroing the Reading

With no pressure applied, press and hold the UNIT/ZERO button for a few seconds until the display reads '0.00' to zero the gauge.

5.4 Backlight Control

Press the Backlight button (light bulb symbol) to turn the blue backlight on or off. The backlight will automatically turn off after 10 seconds to conserve power.

5.5 Automatic Shutdown

The gauge features an automatic shutdown function to save battery life. If no operation is performed for a certain period (typically 10 minutes), the gauge will automatically power off.

5.6 Peak Hold Function

The gauge can display the maximum pressure detected. This is indicated by the 'PEAK' symbol on the display. Consult the display for the peak pressure value.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and accuracy of your pressure gauge.

Cleaning: Wipe the gauge's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no liquid enters the display or button areas.
Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display to ensure continuous operation and accurate readings.
Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries and store the gauge in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and corrosive environments.
Calibration: For critical applications, periodic calibration by a certified laboratory is recommended to maintain accuracy.
