Setup

Unfolding the System

  1. Place the Beacon 2 on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Release the latches securing the speaker array.
  3. Carefully extend the speaker array upwards until it locks into place. Ensure all sections are securely seated.

Powering On

  • Ensure the system's internal batteries are charged. Connect the power cable to a standard AC outlet if charging is needed or for continuous operation.
  • Locate the main power switch on the rear panel (refer to Figure 3).
  • Flip the switch to the 'ON' position. The power indicator light should illuminate.

Operating Instructions

Connecting Microphones

  • The Beacon 2 supports up to four wireless microphones via its two dual wireless mic receivers.
  • For wired microphones, connect them to the universal microphone jacks on the rear panel.
  • Adjust the individual volume controls for each microphone input as needed.

Bluetooth Streaming

  1. Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone or tablet.
  2. On the Beacon 2's rear panel, press the Bluetooth pairing button. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash.
  3. Select "Anchor Audio Beacon 2" from the list of available devices on your smart device.
  4. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator light will become solid. You can now stream audio wirelessly.

Auxiliary Inputs

The system includes 3.5mm and 1/4-inch aux inputs for connecting external audio sources such as laptops, MP3 players, or other audio devices. Use the corresponding volume controls to adjust the input level.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior surfaces of the system. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
