4.2 Placement

Place the humidifier on a stable, level, and water-resistant surface at least 15 cm away from walls and furniture. Ensure the mist outlet is not directed towards walls, furniture, or electronic devices. For optimal performance, place it in a central location within the room.

4.3 Filling the Water Tank

  1. Ensure the unit is unplugged from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the top cover of the humidifier.
  3. Fill the water tank with clean, cool tap water or distilled water. Do not exceed the maximum fill line. The tank capacity is 5 liters.
  4. Replace the top cover securely.

5.3 Humidity Setting (Hygrostat)

Press the Humidity button (often indicated by a %RH icon) to set your desired humidity level. The digital hygrostat allows you to set the humidity between 45% and 90%. The unit will automatically turn on or off to maintain the set humidity level.

5.6 Timer Function

Press the Timer button (often indicated by a clock icon) to set the operating time. You can set the timer for up to 12 hours. The unit will automatically turn off once the set time has elapsed.

5.7 Adjusting Mist Direction

6. Maintenance

Regular cleaning is crucial for the efficient and hygienic operation of your humidifier. Neglecting maintenance can lead to mineral buildup, unpleasant odors, and reduced performance.

6.1 Daily Maintenance

  • Unplug the unit and empty any remaining water from the tank and base.
  • Rinse the water tank and base thoroughly with fresh water.
  • Refill with fresh water before each use.

6.2 Weekly Cleaning and Descaling

To prevent mineral buildup (white dust) and bacterial growth, perform a thorough cleaning weekly. Some users report that cleaning every 2 days helps prevent odors.

  1. Unplug the humidifier and remove the top cover.
  2. Empty all water from the tank and base.
  3. Descaling the Water Tank: Fill the water tank with a solution of white vinegar (or a descaling agent recommended for humidifiers) and water (e.g., 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water). Let it soak for 20-30 minutes.
  4. Cleaning the Base Unit: Pour a small amount of the vinegar solution into the base unit, ensuring it covers the ultrasonic transducer (the small metal disc). Let it soak for 20-30 minutes.
  5. After soaking, gently scrub the inside of the tank and the base unit with a soft brush or cloth to remove any mineral deposits. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  6. Rinse all parts thoroughly with clean water until the vinegar smell is gone.
  7. Wipe all surfaces dry before reassembling.

6.3 Storage

If the humidifier will not be used for an extended period, clean it thoroughly as described above, ensure all parts are completely dry, and store it in its original packaging in a cool, dry place.
