Verify that all the following components are included in your package:
- Backrest
- Seat with integrated footrest mechanism
- Armrests (2x)
- Gas lift cylinder
- Star base
- Caster wheels (5x)
- Mounting hardware (screws, washers, Allen key)

4. Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps carefully to assemble your CLP Pacific Office Chair.
- Attach Caster Wheels to Star Base: Insert each of the five caster wheels into the holes at the end of each leg of the star base. Push firmly until they click into place.
- Insert Gas Lift into Star Base: Place the gas lift cylinder into the central hole of the assembled star base. Ensure it sits securely.
- Attach Armrests to Seat: Align the armrests with the pre-drilled holes on the sides of the seat cushion. Secure them using the provided screws and washers. Do not overtighten initially.
- Attach Backrest to Seat: Connect the backrest to the seat using the designated mounting points and hardware. Ensure the backrest is oriented correctly.
- Connect Seat Assembly to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the central mechanism aligns with the top of the gas lift.
- Connect Massage Unit Wiring: Locate the wiring for the massage function. Connect the massage unit's power cable to the chair's internal wiring, typically found underneath the seat. Ensure a secure connection.
- Final Tightening: Once all components are in place, securely tighten all screws and bolts. Test the chair's stability before use.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Chair Adjustments
- Height Adjustment: To adjust the seat height, pull the lever located under the seat upwards while applying or releasing body weight. The seat will move up or down accordingly. Release the lever to lock the height.
- Recline Function: The backrest can be adjusted for recline. Locate the recline lever, typically on the side of the chair. Pull the lever to unlock the recline, lean back to your desired angle, and push the lever back to lock it.
- Tilt Tension: A knob under the seat allows you to adjust the tension of the chair's tilt mechanism. Turn clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to recline) and counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).
5.2. Massage Function
The chair features a massage function controlled by a wired remote. The remote is typically stored in a side pocket.

- Power On/Off: Connect the power adapter to a 230V Euro socket and plug the other end into the chair's power input. Use the power button on the remote to turn the massage function on or off.
- Intensity Adjustment: The massage intensity can be adjusted in two stages (low/high) using the corresponding button on the remote.
- Massage Modes: Select from five different massage modes (e.g., pulse, wave, normal) using the mode selection button.
- Timer Function: Set the massage duration to 15, 30, or 60 minutes using the timer button. The massage will automatically stop after the selected time.
- Targeted Massage: The remote allows you to activate specific massage zones (e.g., upper back, lower back, seat) independently.
5.3. Footrest Operation
The chair includes a retractable footrest for added comfort.

- Extend Footrest: To extend the footrest, pull it outwards from underneath the seat. It will slide out and can be flipped up into position.
- Retract Footrest: To retract, push the footrest back underneath the seat until it is fully stored.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: For fabric upholstery, use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust. For spills, dab gently with a clean, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Frame Care: Wipe the metal frame with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Caster Wheels: Periodically clean hair and debris from the caster wheels to ensure smooth movement.
- Fasteners: Regularly check all screws and bolts and re-tighten them as necessary to ensure the chair remains stable and safe.
7. Troubleshooting
- Chair Sinks/Doesn't Stay Up: This usually indicates an issue with the gas lift cylinder. Ensure it is correctly installed. If the problem persists, the gas lift may need replacement.
- Massage Function Not Working:
- Check if the power adapter is securely plugged into both the wall socket and the chair.
- Ensure the power outlet is functional.
- Verify that the remote control is properly connected to the chair's wiring.
- Press the power button on the remote control.
- Chair is Wobbly: Check all assembly screws and bolts, especially those connecting the armrests, backrest, and base. Tighten any loose fasteners.
- Caster Wheels Not Rolling Smoothly: Inspect the wheels for trapped hair, dust, or debris. Clean them thoroughly.
