Setup

  1. Unpack all components and remove any packaging materials.
  2. Place the main unit on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
  3. Insert the stainless steel Bain Marie insert into the main unit.
  4. Fill the space between the main unit and the Bain Marie insert with water. Do not overfill; ensure the water level is below the rim of the Bain Marie insert.
  5. Place the food to be warmed into the Bain Marie insert.
  6. Place the hinged lid on top of the Bain Marie insert.
  7. Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

  1. Initial Warming: To quickly bring food to serving temperature, turn the temperature control dial to a higher setting, typically between 8 and 12. The red indicator light will illuminate, indicating that the unit is heating.
  2. Maintaining Temperature: Once the food has reached the desired serving temperature, turn the dial down to a lower setting (e.g., 4-7) to maintain warmth. The indicator light will cycle on and off as the unit regulates the temperature.
  3. Monitoring: Periodically check the food temperature to ensure it remains within safe serving guidelines.
  4. Serving: Use the hinged lid's notch for convenient ladle access.
  5. Shutting Down: When finished, turn the temperature control dial to the 'OFF' position and unplug the unit from the power outlet. Allow the unit to cool completely before cleaning or storing.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your kettle warmer.

Cleaning Steps:

  1. Remove the Bain Marie insert and the lid. Wash them with warm, soapy water or place them in a dishwasher. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  2. Drain any water from the main unit's reservoir.
  3. Wipe the exterior and interior of the main unit with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
  4. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the finish.
  5. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing the unit.
