Setup

1. Unpacking:

Carefully remove the iron and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.

  1. Ensure the iron is unplugged and cooled down.
  2. Open the water inlet cover located at the front of the iron.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On and Temperature Selection:

  1. Plug the iron into a suitable electrical outlet (1750-Watts).
  2. Turn the temperature dial to select the appropriate heat setting for your fabric type (e.g., Linen, Cotton, Wool, Silk, Synthetic). Refer to garment care labels for guidance.
  3. The indicator light will illuminate while the iron is heating up and turn off when the selected temperature is reached.

2. Steam Functions:

  • Continuous Steam: Once the iron reaches the desired temperature (usually higher settings), steam will be continuously emitted from the soleplate. Adjust the steam output using the steam control slider.
  • Steam Boost (Shot of Steam): For stubborn wrinkles, press the "Steam Boost" button (often located under the handle or on top). This delivers a powerful burst of steam (200 g/min). Wait a few seconds between bursts to allow the iron to reheat.
  • Spray Function: Press the "Spray" button to mist water onto the fabric, which can help in smoothing out creases before ironing.
  • Vertical Steaming: The iron can be used vertically to steam hanging garments, drapes, or upholstery. Hold the iron a few inches away from the fabric and press the "Steam Boost" button.

3. Auto-Off Safety Feature:

For safety, the iron will automatically shut off if left unattended. If left horizontally, it will shut off after approximately 30 seconds. If left vertically on its heel rest, it will shut off after approximately 8 minutes. To restart, simply move the iron.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Soleplate:

To clean the soleplate, use a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner. Do not use metallic pads or abrasive cleaning agents as they can damage the soleplate.

2. Anti-Calc System (Self-Clean):

The iron features an integrated anti-calc system to prevent mineral buildup. For optimal performance, perform the self-clean function regularly (e.g., once a month, depending on water hardness).

  1. Fill the water tank to the MAX line.
  2. Set the temperature to maximum and plug in the iron.
  3. Once the indicator light turns off, unplug the iron.
  4. Hold the iron horizontally over a sink.
  5. Press and hold the "Self Clean" button (if available, otherwise refer to manual for specific anti-calc procedure) while gently shaking the iron. Hot water and steam will flush out mineral deposits.
  6. Release the button when the tank is empty.
  7. Allow the iron to cool completely before storing.

3. Storage:

Always empty the water tank after each use. Store the iron upright on its heel rest to prevent damage to the soleplate.
