5. Setup

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

Flip the power switch on the rear panel to the "ON" position to power on the speaker. The display will illuminate. To power off, flip the switch to "OFF".

6.2 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Turn on the speaker.
2. Press the "MODE" button on the speaker or remote control until "BLUETOOTH" or "BT" appears on the display. The speaker will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon or audible prompt.
3. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
4. Select "Karma RDM 12A" (or similar name) from the list.
5. Once paired, the speaker will confirm with an audible tone or a solid Bluetooth icon. You can now play audio from your device.

6.3 MP3 Playback (USB)

1. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB port.
2. The speaker should automatically switch to USB mode and begin playing. If not, press the "MODE" button to select USB mode.
3. Use the Play/Pause, Next/Previous buttons on the speaker or remote to control playback.

6.4 Recording Function

The speaker allows recording audio from microphone and instrument inputs directly to a USB flash drive.

1. Ensure a USB flash drive is inserted.
2. Connect your microphone(s) or instrument(s) and adjust their volume levels.
3. Press the "REC" button on the remote control or speaker. The display will indicate recording is active.
4. Press "REC" again to stop recording. The recorded file will be saved on the USB drive.
