2. Setup
- Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment (typically on the back or side) and insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

3. Operating Instructions
- Insert Probe into Meat: Carefully insert the stainless steel probe into the thickest part of the meat, avoiding bones. Ensure the probe tip is fully embedded and does not pierce all the way through.
- Select Meat Type: Press the "MEAT" button to cycle through the available meat settings: Beef, Lamb, Pork, Fish, Turkey, and Chicken. The display will show the recommended target temperature for the selected meat.
- Select Doneness Level: After selecting the meat type, press the "TASTE H/M" button to choose your desired doneness level (e.g., Well, Medium Well, Medium, Medium Rare, Rare). The target temperature will adjust accordingly.
- Manually Set Temperature (Optional): If you know your desired temperature and prefer to set it manually, press the "MODE" button until "Temperature" is selected. Then, use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the target temperature.
- Monitor Temperature: The thermometer will continuously display the current internal temperature of the meat.
- Audible Alarm: Once the meat reaches the set target temperature, the thermometer will emit an audible alarm, indicating that your food is ready.
- Using the Timer: The thermometer includes a built-in timer. Press the "MODE" button to switch to timer mode. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired time, and then press the "MEAT" button to start/stop the timer.
4. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the thermometer unit and stainless steel probe clean with a damp cloth after each use. Do not immerse the main unit in water. The probe can be cleaned with warm, soapy water.
- Storage: Store the thermometer in a dry place when not in use. The probe can be coiled and stored with the unit.
