4.2. Charging the Camera

Before first use, fully charge the camera. Connect the camera to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter) using the provided Mini USB cable. The red and blue indicator lights will illuminate during charging. Once fully charged, the lights will turn off or change color (refer to specific model behavior if different). A full charge provides approximately 60 minutes of recording time at 1080P 30fps.

Note: The camera's buttons may not operate when it is plugged into a USB port for charging or data transfer. This is normal behavior for this device.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Turning On the Camera

5.2. Turning Off the Camera

Whenever the camera is in any mode, long press the Power Button for 5 seconds and then release it. The indicator lights will turn off, and the camera will shut down.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Camera does not turn on:

Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to turn it on again. Make sure a Micro SD card is inserted.

  • No video recording / Camera not saving files:

Verify that a Micro SD card is properly inserted and formatted (FAT32). Check if the card is full; if so, loop recording should overwrite old files, but a faulty card or formatting issue could prevent this. Try a different Micro SD card. Ensure you are pressing the Power Button correctly to start recording after entering the desired standby mode.

  • Buttons do not respond when plugged in:

This is normal behavior. The camera's buttons are typically inactive when connected to a USB port for charging or data transfer. Disconnect the camera from the USB port to operate it.

  • Poor video quality / Distorted video:

Ensure the lens is clean. If recording from a moving vehicle or during rapid movement, some distortion may occur due to the camera's sensor type. Ensure sufficient lighting for optimal video quality, especially if not using night vision.

  • Camera turns off unexpectedly:

The camera has an automatic shutdown feature after 1 minute of inactivity in standby mode. If it turns off during recording, the battery might be low. Ensure it is fully charged before extended use. Using night vision for prolonged periods can also drain the battery faster.

  • Cannot connect to computer / Computer does not recognize camera:

Try a different USB port or cable. Ensure the camera is turned off before connecting to the computer. If using a card reader, ensure it is properly connected and the Micro SD card is inserted correctly.

9. Maintenance

  • Keep the camera clean. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the lens and body. Avoid using liquid cleaners.
  • Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Avoid dropping or subjecting the camera to strong impacts.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble the camera, as this will void any warranty and may cause damage.
