Safety Information
Always prioritize safety when operating any fuel-powered appliance. Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury or death.
- Use only in well-ventilated areas to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning.
- Keep away from flammable materials, children, and pets.
- Ensure the stove is stable on a level surface before operation.
- Do not touch hot surfaces during or immediately after use. Allow the system to cool completely before handling.
- Use only Jetboil JetPower fuel canisters or compatible isobutane/propane fuel mixes.
- Never leave an operating stove unattended.
- Inspect the stove and fuel canister for leaks or damage before each use.
- Do not modify the stove or its components.

Setup Instructions
- Prepare the Fuel Canister: Place the fuel canister stabilizer tripod onto a flat, stable surface. Attach the fuel canister to the stabilizer by aligning the legs with the canister base.
- Attach the Stove Burner: Carefully screw the MiniMo stove burner assembly onto the threaded valve of the fuel canister. Ensure it is hand-tightened only to prevent damage and ensure a proper seal. Do not overtighten.
- Prepare the Cooking Cup: Remove the lid and bottom cup from the 1-liter cooking cup. If using the pot support for other cookware, attach it to the burner now. For the MiniMo cup, ensure the FluxRing is clean and free of debris.
- Attach the Cooking Cup: Align the cooking cup with the burner assembly. Twist the cup clockwise until it securely locks into place. You should feel a positive click.

Operating Instructions
- Fill the Cooking Cup: Add the desired amount of water or food to the cooking cup. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
- Ignite the Stove: Slowly turn the fuel control valve counter-clockwise to release a small amount of gas. Immediately press the red push-button igniter until the flame lights. If the igniter does not work, use a long-stem lighter or match.
- Adjust the Flame: Use the fuel control valve to adjust the flame intensity. Turn clockwise for a lower flame (simmer) and counter-clockwise for a higher flame (boil). The MiniMo offers precise incremental heat adjustments.
- Cooking: Monitor your cooking. The FluxRing technology ensures efficient heat transfer, boiling 16 ounces (2 cups) of water in approximately two minutes and fifteen seconds.
- Turn Off the Stove: Once cooking is complete, turn the fuel control valve clockwise until the flame extinguishes completely.
- Cool Down: Allow the system to cool down completely before detaching the cooking cup or burner assembly. The metal handle on the cooking cup is insulated, but the cup itself will be hot.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Jetboil MiniMo system.
- Cleaning the Cooking Cup: After each use, allow the cup to cool. Wash with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Cleaning the Burner: Keep the burner head clean and free of food debris. Use a soft brush if necessary. Do not immerse the burner assembly in water.
- Inspecting Components: Periodically check all connections, O-rings, and the fuel line for any signs of wear, cracks, or damage. Ensure the igniter wire is not bent or obstructed.
- Storage: Ensure all components are clean and dry before storing. Nest the components inside the cooking cup for compact storage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Jetboil MiniMo, refer to the table below for common problems and solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Stove does not ignite with push-button. | No fuel flow, igniter wire bent/dirty, igniter faulty. | Ensure fuel valve is open. Check igniter wire for proper position and cleanliness. Use an external lighter or match. |
| Low or inconsistent flame. | Low fuel, cold fuel canister, partially clogged burner. | Replace fuel canister. Warm canister slightly (e.g., in a pocket). Clean burner head. |
| Fuel leak detected. | Loose connection, damaged O-ring. | Immediately turn off fuel. Tighten connections. Inspect and replace O-rings if damaged. Do not operate if leak persists. |
| Cooking cup not attaching securely. | Debris in connection, misaligned. | Check for debris in the FluxRing or burner connection. Ensure proper alignment and twist until it clicks. |
